Happy Wedding Anniversary!

Hi!

August is the month of my parents’ wedding anniversary (33 years this year!), so I needed to make them a lovely card. I decided to make it using parchment for a change, and used a pattern that I had downloaded from online. It features bells, rings and ribbons, and is suitable either as a wedding or anniversary card. I have actually simplified it in my version, as the pattern used grid-work in the bells to create a lattice effect, but I’m not good enough to know all that yet. However, I’m still quite pleased with how it turned out, and my dad was impressed with and grateful for it, which is all that matters to me!

In fact, I was so happy with it that I made a second one and sent that as my parchment craft swap for August, as there was a free topic swap. So, I’ve only used the one lot of photos, as they’re both the same!

Let me know what you think? Dad’s understandably biased!!

  1. Really loved the Anniversary Card for Mum & Dad, I’d have been really thrilled if I had been lucky enough to have received it. Dad might be biased but he should also be very proud to have a Daughter with so much determination and drive and the will to over come all of the daily obstacles in her path. Great piece of crafting !.
