As my App didn’t want to work while I was on hols the last two week (& I spent ages writing the posts up too!!) thought I’d post them now I’m home. Will post one or two a day for the next week or two, giving me time to recover!!
Anyway, enjoy, and talk soon!
Ps please excuse the images not all being of greatest quality, was using my iPad to take and edit them. Now I’m home will see if can improve them for the roundup post at the end, and the tutorials to follow, but wanted to post these as they were done.
Apologies for the silence lately. Been so busy trying to get jobs done before my holiday this week that I’ve had no time to finish my photo editing, the one thing holding me back from publishing about 20 posts! Hopefully will get that done once I get home, especially as my little sister’s operation is due to happen tomorrow too, so by the time I go home she should be well on her way to being better as well.
Anyway, today is the first day of my annual visit to the Manor House Hotel in Devon (this is my third year here now!), and I have been so looking forward to it! I was even packed and ready to go early this time, and not in my usual last-minute rush! Unfortunately, it appears every bad driver in Britain is out on the roads today, especially along my route, and what should have taken 4 hours to drive, with a lunch break, has taken 6! And one queue was so bad I turned the engine off and had a nap while I waited!! It’s poor Yaris who suffered, as the weather’s been glorious today, which means the car’s been really warm, and while I’ve had the windows open when I could, and the air conditioning on the rest of the time, it can’t have been fun for him in his fur coat!! Mind you, he did have his big bed in the boot so he was comfy, and judging by his snores, he wasn’t too bothered most of the time!!
Now I’m finally here and in my room (thanks to the lovely Steve who carried everything in for me!), I’m having an hour’s rest before I go over to dinner – I need to give my back and rear end a break if nothing else!!
Hope you’re all having a good day too! Speak soon!
