As my App didn’t want to work while I was on hols the last two week (& I spent ages writing the posts up too!!) thought I’d post them now I’m home. Will post one or two a day for the next week or two, giving me time to recover!!
Anyway, enjoy, and talk soon!
Ps please excuse the images not all being of greatest quality, was using my iPad to take and edit them. Now I’m home will see if can improve them for the roundup post at the end, and the tutorials to follow, but wanted to post these as they were done.
It’s my tenth full day on holiday, and a lovely one too!
We started the day off with a bit of woodwork, by using the computer-aided design computer-aided machinery (CAD-CAM) system and its router tool to make a lovely plaque for my house and one for dads. We went for fairly simple designs – just the house number and street name each time, inside a border (though in slightly different formats) – and they look great, if I do say so myself! The next stage of the process is to paint and wax or varnish them, but as we wanted to have a trip out too, we’re going to do that bit at home!
After a quick play with Yaris (who was feeling rather abandoned as I’d left him in the room while we were in the workshop (never mind that I did it to protect his paws and ears!!)), it was time for our trip to the seaside! We decided on Bude as our destination, as it can be reached in just 45 minutes from the hotel, is fairly flat access, and we haven’t been there before on a trip.
